"Perfect Place to Stay to Enjoy the City of Hobart"

We stayed at this hotel for two nights the week before during the Salamanca Market and loved the location so much that we booked it again on our return. It’s just a short walk from the must-visit-when-in-Hobart Salamanca Market. The classic building reminded me of an old convent in England. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars around the square, most of them well worth visiting. The view of the autumn foliage from the bedroom window was stunning—especially during our second stay, when we overlooked the public park and the bay. The staff were consistently polite, helpful, and friendly.

The only downside was the beds. They were quite narrow (perhaps standard for Australia), which made them uncomfortable. The mattresses also seemed to sag or tilt to one side.

Everything was great except heating.

Heating wasnt working and they brought us a portable one but we were a little cold.
