Lovely colonial style motel, nicely maintained, very clean and room lovely warm and comfortable

The location was great.

The taps in the bathroom were old and corroded. The sink in the kitchen leaked into the draw underneath. The room had an obvious and big cobweb from the couch to the wall. There was no price list of the things to eat or drink. I ate the nuts and the pringles chips, however when we wanted to leave, firstly the reception was not open, and the woman didn't want to let us in until she found we were to pay them some money. She checked our room at which time she accused us of drinking a bottle of wine, stating that the cleaners were very trusted and they couldn't have possibly missed it. But they missed the water in the draw and the cobweb. As we continued to argue about this bottle of wine, the lady then said she would check the cameras in the hall. Which hall was she refiring too? We weren't in a hallway; our room was outside at the front. My Husband seemed to think it was the small room between our lounge and bedroom just as we came into our accommodation. But surely not, as this would be illegal and if it is, do they also have cameras elsewhere in the room? Plus, they had a very peculiar habit of charging anyone from Launceston a $350 bond because no one in Australia or the world, for that matter, can cancel their card before they finish their stay, what bollocks!!!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, very close to the city and convenient for getting around and exploring the area. The reception team was professional, friendly, and always welcoming with great smiles. A special thanks to Ritesh, the Reception Manager, who kindly offered me a complimentary drink voucher, which was a lovely gesture. I also dined at Three Steps Hotel Restaurant during my stay, and the food and service were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay. It truly will not disappoint. I will definitely be back again soon!
