Lavender Inn by the Sea

We had a reservation for 2 nights. It was non refundable. The night before we left, my father in MA had emergency surgery and he is not expected to survive, so we had to cancel our trip to go to MA. We contacted the hotel and a very nice woman had me leave a message with her manager, Greg, which I did. She also told me I had to cancel through Capital One, and to have them contact Greg. They did, and he refused to give us a refund OR a voucher to return. (We plan to do our trip in July when the crisis has passed.) I can’t believe that a business could be so cruel in a situation like this! We were SO looking forward to staying at Lavendar Inn by the Sea, but never again!!

The room was clean but not as lovely as the images show. They served a light breakfast which was included. However, I was disappointed to find extra charges beyond our confirmed room rate of $255.00 for one night. The fact they charged an extra $30.60 "Room bed tax" and another $5.10 TBID (whatever that is!) made it unlikely we would return.

Age old property. Pictures shown on booking.com were taken centuries ago.

Завтрак включен , но он был очень скудный и состоял в основном из выпечки, возможно это культура местная , но мне не хватало здоровой еды. И с завтрака я ушла достаточно голодная. Это минус , потому что когда ты видишь что завтрак включен ты не хочешь думать , где тебе позавтракать. Как по мне цена была завышена и мы не отдохнули на уплаченные деньги.

Cozy, clean, super friendly and efficient staff. Ideal location.
