The location and view from the room was beautiful. The room was modern and spacious with everything you need. Even binoculars. Very clean and warm Lady who signed us in was very friendly and welcoming 🙏 😊

The steep road to get the the room.. not great with a lowered car. The mattress was not that comfortable and only one flat pillow each.. Wanted an early night before the comp at hms raleigh.. should have thought about this before booking a room above a pub.. although it did die down from 10pm .. Woke up after a disturbed night with bad back Maybe a upgrade on mattress and pillows would make this stay perfect

breakfast was good. lovely quiet location

bathroom had paint pealing off in places which looked terrible.

'Small' English looked a bit too big, so went for cereal & toast.

The property is a lovely little pub that has 2 guest rooms. The rooms are huge and the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower which was powerful. It was lovely to peer out of the window and although the ride was lit on arrival, the water soon came in and you could hear the waves lapping. If you’d like breakfast, there are menus in the room and you just order what you’d like at the bar and give a time of when you’d be down. I had and enjoyed a three course meal the evening I was there and it was really good. The rooms are warm, comfortable and bed was fab.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The setting is beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff were wonderful, they were so helpful and friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Nothing, the stay was perfect!

Perfect for visiting my partner at HMS Raleigh, lovely and quiet and a short distance from the city, a great place to relax and have some alone time.

We loved the room as it was comfortable, clean, a good size, and had a lovely view of the cove. The food and drink were excellent - both the evening meal and breakfast were very good, as was the cup of coffee in the morning! The staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating, and we would be very happy to again stay at The Wilcove Inn.

One tiny bit of feedback is that the bed pillows could have been better quality, a little bit thin for our liking.
