Piripe Wellness Lodge

The staff are accommodating and friendly. I LOVED that laundry was free - I could wash all the clothes I wanted. The place is beautiful, nestled within nature - it’s a great place for casual birdwatching as there are so many birds that come here. The toilet is very spacious and has a spa-like vibe.

The lodge is located, as advertised, in a beautiful forest, about 2 hours from Quito. The rooms are nice and the bed was very comfortable. There's a little swimming pool and two jacuzzies. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Around the lodge, there's a walking trail that leads to a very nice waterfall (about 1/2 hour walk).

The room could have been a little larger and I missed screens on the windows. We didn't have significant mosquitos in the room, but I would have slept better knowing that there are screens on the windows inside all this vegetation.
