Discovery Inn

It was absolutely horrible no water pressure in the shower not updated like the pictures showed.... Charged a 60 dollar deposit which i still haven't received after a month and a half checked out a day early and haven't received that refund as well.... Keep getting the runaround on both

This is an excellent hotel for the value. The floors are clean instead of carpet. They are periodically updating paint and wood work. Located convient to major train lines and major buses. It is at the center point hub in the SLC value. Recommend for BYU Week, Utah Games, cheap Silicion Slopes Housing. Use Code “TT-DI” for good customer service; ask to speak to “Daniel”

Rooms could be much cleaner

Absolutely awful. Many flies in my room (123) since there is a garbage stroller without any lid covered next to my room. I did report to the front desk but no action was taken. Also, there is no hair dryer in my room which is not the same as what it is described. When I asked the front desk why there is no hair dryer in my room, he said he doesn’t know. He told me to use towel to dry the hair. My daughter has long hair and it is impossible to dry it with a towel. They never clean the floor as it is very dirty and dusty. I have seen cockroaches in my room hiding under the closet and the sink. This is a horrible and very dirty hotel I have never seen in my life. It is however not cheap at all. I highly do not recommend it and please think twice before staying.

I didn’t like it at all, was terrible

Staff was nice and friendly , let us check in early. The only complaint I have is the bathroom was not cleaned.

Was simply a good, clean room with easy access on 7200 South and a Smith's grocery store a bit to the West on Redwood Road was a big deal for me . Quick, easy meals with the big names in fast food along with the great staff at the Discovery Inn really made this trip enjoyable. The "dorm room" sized refrigerator and freezer were very convenient. The freezer was able to keep treats frozen and bottles of water nice and cold.

Simple amenities like a box of tissues and some paper towels would have been a nice touch. But this wasn't the Ritz, so for the price of the room I can't really complain. I'd recommend this motel to anyone that wants a great location, simple amenities, along with fast food and restaurants literally a chip shot away. You can't go wrong staying here.

Everybody is cool

Reserved a nonsmoking room and the room sign did indeed say nonsmoking, however the room had a very strong stale cigarette smell. It was so strong i woke up with a sore throat and smelled like cigarette smoke ( im a non smoker). Plus multiple lights were burnt out in the room and the wifi was so terrible. Never again
