Very helpful staff persons at front desk and a superb location, just a few minutes walk to the Lumine Wing east entrance of the multi-story Ofuna JR train station (and Shonan Monorail), and surrounded by lots of fun pedestrian streets and shops. The hotel is also just a 10 minute walk to the wonderful Soto Zen Buddhist temple devoted to Kannon / Kwannon (Guan Yin). This closeness to a main transportation hub made it very easy to explore Kamakura, which was our main focus during a 6-night stay, without having to pay marked-up hotel prices in Kamakura itself. The room was very clean and equipped with good basic amenities. This hotel chain is very environmentally-conscious and so doesn't overdo it with extra amenities in the room, but lets you choose downstairs in the lobby what extra amenities you'd like to use, and there are good choices ranging from matcha green tea packets to shower caps and cotton swabs. The lighting controls near the head of the bed (some of them with dimmers) were perfect for adjusting the lighting. The room also usefully provides 4 USB ports for charging one's devices.

Our room would have been fine for a solo traveler but felt just about 2 square meters too small for us, a couple with minimal luggage on our last week of a 3-week sojourn in Japan. If there had been a full size bed instead of our queen size bed (which occupied about 80% of the room space) it would have felt more spacious. Note that the closet-rod space for hanging clothes was only about 13 inches wide, which is fine for a solo traveler but cramped for a couple. Nevertheless, we were able to feel quite cozy together in this typically-Japanese small-room lodging.

直前に、誤った日付けだったことを、お優しい心遣いで取り直しにご協力してくださいました。近しい身内の葬儀にかけつけた親族用の部屋でしたので、温かいお言葉も添えつつ、親身になっていただいて、涙が出るほど嬉しかった。 ロビーですでにホスピタリティあふれる良いホテルでした
