From 20 April until 12 October, check-in takes place at Hotel Residence Stella del Mare in Via Sardegna 15. At other times, check-in takes place at Via Lombardia 21. Please note that full payment of the booked stay is due on arrival. "For the apartments (residence formula): bath/bed linen is included for all occupants with a weekly change; for stays of at least 7 nights, a mid-week tidying with a towel change is included. The cleaning does not include the kitchenette." Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Near to the sea. The apartment was very clean and nice. Stuff upon check-in and check-out was friendly and thoughtful. Overall the apartment had almost everything that you might need during your stay. We had AC’s in all three rooms, which is very nice. There is enough place for 5-6 people in the rooms. There were four of us and we were very comfortable. We are happy with our stay and will definitely recommend this accommodation especially if our suggestions for improvement will be taken into account.

Cleaning: on the fourth day of our stay whole three housekeepers came to us and told us to bring and give them the towels and trash from the bathroom while they were just standing there by the door🤔. They didn’t even come in to the apartment to sweep the floors or change bed sheets or something(although frankly speaking I’m not sure that they were supposed to, I didn’t find any info about floors or sheets). Also we had to convince them to give us some toilet paper. Beds: they are ok in terms of comfort, but creaking as hell.

It was self catering but you could use all facilities at the hotel including pool. Location was good but you did near a car.

"great value for money"

excellent apartment for a family of 5 and a dog. we really liked the private garden with bbq and dining area. it is a close walk to the beach. during our stay, one of the pipes under the sink in the bathroom leaked, we called the reception in the morning from the car as we were leaving for a day trip, when we got home in the evening, the pipe had been changed. fairly close to bigger cities for day trips (pisa, florence)

in mazzanta the village was quite deserted. we were there at the end of the season (early october); most businesses were closed, we are unsure weather this was due to the season or covid? but in the villages of vada and cecina, we found everything we needed (and more 🙂). the beach was a bit "messy" not dirty, just quite a bit of drift wood and leaves, maybe also due to the late season and fairly low amount of visitors.
