Santa Cecilia Luxury Apartments by Wonderful Italy

A great location for access to attractions with plentiful good restaurants and cafes near by. A characterful apartment with two en-suited bathrooms. It is a good size with large and comfortable double beds. The up-stairs terrace was a a bonus on a good day and great place to eat breakfast.

The pre arrival check in process was fragmented with multiple emails and somewhat repetitive. The access code to the door was not sent automatically and I needed to prompt the host via WhatsApp and phone calls. There was a problem with inoperative kitchen lights which was not fixed during the stay. The apartment floor tiles needed a good wash!

Shower at the back is a bit small. The street is a little noisy at night but nothing to worry about if you’re out for dinner/drinks anyway!!

The beds were not comfortable and one had a broken spring in it

Location is perfect, we loved how in the middel of the night life it was but be aware for some people this could be a bit noisy. There is a supermarket a stones throw away which is so handy. The terrace was peaceful and quiet, the house is huge so plenty of space and the beds are comfy. We were really happy overall with the stay. It's also a little difficult to find at first as it it situated between two restaurants.

The only problems we had were minor ones. There could be more glassed/wine glasses and cups. For 4 people this wasn't really enough..the airco is also not very strong so in the middel of summer it will be warm.

The central location with restaurants and bars around means it‘s always quite noisy at night.

It’s a great location 100m from Lidl and lots of great restaurants. It’s a nice big apartment. The furniture is fine except the beds.

We stayed in the winter and the heat was off for 3/4 of each day, and the place was freezing for much of the time. Also, the mattresses are old and the springs were coming through. Also, there is a key fob system that is truly annoying. You only get one key and you must put that key in the electricity master switch. There’s also a heavy padlock attached to the keys that you must carry around with you all day in your pocket. Also, there is a restaurant /bar directly 1-story beneath your unit, with 100 people on the sidewalk till late at night. The showers are also glitchy. Also, there’s a back window that doesn’t lock.

My family of 5 stayed here for 2 weeks and we loved it! Apartment was modern, clean, very spacious, and very centrally located to all the sights of Palermo. Walking distance to the markets and main shopping streets. It's right above a street very busy with local nightlife, (which we loved). Others have commented about street noise, but you can't hear it with the windows closed.

The garbage drop off was very disorganized, but this would not be a problem for someone on a shorter stay. I can't complain about anything else!

Beautiful and stylish apartment in the heart of Palermo old town. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable and had all the amenities you might need. Location couldn't have been better on a nice quiet plaza, very safe area and just a few minutes walk to many bars and restaurants. We loved it, thank you:)
