Maui Hostels Playa del Carmen

It's a nice social hostel. Good basic breakfast with coffee provided in the morning which is a nice touch. Many activities organized throughout the evening which helps with mingling with the other guests and hosts. Shout-out to Coco (Corentin) for organizing most of the activities. They were overall good value activities.

Lots of stairs. The shared space (rooftop with the pool) is quite small with most guests smoking non-stop. Something to consider if you don't like second-hand smoke...

Apesar da área comum ser agradável, a experiência geral não correspondeu às expectativas. Os quartos são simples (sujos) e, na minha percepção, abaixo do padrão mostrado nas fotos. O chuveiro tinha pouca pressão de água, o que comprometeu o banho. O café da manhã não começou no horário informado e o atendimento foi demorado. Por esses motivos, pessoalmente não recomendo a hospedagem neste momento, principalmente para quem busca mais conforto e organização.”

Acomodação suja, falta de troca de roupa de cama, café que seria grátis é uma panqueca que demora muito para ficar pronta. Atendimento no café é péssimo.

Great atmosphere, the staff was always smiling and welcoming, with good recommandations where to go and what to see. They were quite flexible with my checkin in / out, wich was great. Common spaces were small but practicle to meet new faces and allow you to make new friends. Some dedicated areas for remote working were appreciated. Always some cheap and fun activites going on the evening to gather (sport, yoga, salsa, cooking..). Special big up to Corentin for making this stay fun, sporty and relaxing ;)

Breakfast was a bit light sometimes In some rooms AC was not enough, so nights were hot. Head of the shower was a bit old and not functioning well. But overall, for the price you pay, you get pretty good value amenities.

Central location, close to everything. Rooftop pool with breakfast options.

Really nice staff, nice rooftop and pool. It's not a party hostel but it's really social, they organize a lot of activities like sport in the mornings and dance class in the evening. So it's really easy to meet and speak to people. Everything was clean.
