Sehr schöne Lage und ein sehr tolles Frühstück mit viel Auswahl und aufmerksamen Kellnern.

Der Wellnessbereich war in Ordnung, aber leider ging das Dampbad und die Softsauna nicht, auch der Pool war ziemlich kalt.

Amazing location

This hotel is romantic in name only. We were very surprised — to put it nicely — by how dirty this place is. Which is a real shame, because the potential is huge… if someone bothered to actually run it. The mountain view is stunning, the breakfast is honestly fine, and the wellness area is well kept. So far, so good. And then we opened the door to our room. Surprise! A stained and dirty carpet (climbing all the way up onto the baseboards, very ambitious), stains on the chairs, furniture that looks like it has lived three lives already, and folk-style wood carvings above the bed so scary they could double as a Halloween decoration. Oh, and a bonus feature: a clogged sink, because why not. The cherry on top: a biscuit, calmly sitting on the carpet next to the bed — even though we had asked for the room to be cleaned. Two theories: either the cleaning person dropped their snack, or the room is simply never cleaned. I have a strong feeling it’s option number two. Being far too polite for our own good, we didn’t make a scene. Thanks to our excellent survival skills, we made the best of this disappointing situation by hiding in the wellness area and running off to Neuschwanstein Castle. P.S.: Out of pure desperation, we tried to ask the receptionist about the ski lifts — you know, to find something fun to do. The conversation was about as warm as the wind at the top of the Zugspitze. It really makes you wonder why some people choose a career in hospitality when they clearly have zero of it in stock.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
