Le Caravelle Bed and Breakfast

The listing promotes Bed & Breakfast and there are two buildings adjoining each other operated by the host. I made an error when searching and selected a room for single use and was allocated a small room up very steep stairs, which does in fact accommodate two people. However it shares a stairwell with a guest room below. The facilities are very spartan - no basics like tea and coffee, almost no kitchen utensils, and certainly no breakfast supplied. No matter, plenty of options for eating gout nearby. The location in the heart of downtown is excellent.

The host was stressed while operating a cafe business, and was a bit off-hand - in part due to my mistake in not selecting a room for two guests - and charged an additional fee accordingly. Overall not an especially welcoming experience, and a misnomer regarding the "breakfast" part of B&B. An adequate stay.

Het ligt echt in het centrum. Wat een voordeel en een beetje een nadeel (geluidsoverlast door restaurants tot laat in de nacht) is. Maar het is zo heerlijk om de trap af te dalen om direct het centrum in te wandelen. Het appartementje was zo mooi verbouwd! Host is erg vriendelijk.

Er is geen koffiezettertje, of waterkoker. Geen voorzieningen (glazen, bord/bestek) om zelf iets kleins klaar te maken of te nuttigen, terwijl dit op de foto’s wel zo lijkt. Voor een B&B wel vanzelfsprekend is mijn ervaring.

L’atout majeur de cet établissement est son emplacement à 20 mètre de la place de la vielle ville. Pour le parking c'est un peu plus compliqué, à moins d'avoir la chance, comme nous, de nous parquer sur la route à moins de 100 de l'établissement. L'hébergement est un maison très étroite et profonde (nous logions au N° 16) de 4 étages. L'agencement est minimaliste, mais suffisant pour une nuit. Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner, mais ce n'est pas un problème car sur la place toute proche il y a tout ce qu'il faut

L'escalier permettant d'accéder aux étages est raide, étroit et les marches sont très hautes. A déconseiller aux personnes à mobilité réduites

Struttura in posizione davvero eccezionale, nel pieno centro di Monopoli. Una volta arrivati, ci si può dimenticare dell’auto e godersi la città a piedi. Il porto, il centro storico, i ristoranti, i bar e tutti i principali punti di interesse sono facilmente raggiungibili in pochi minuti. L’alloggio è confortevole e ben curato, ideale per chi vuole vivere l’atmosfera di Monopoli senza spostamenti. L’unica piccola difficoltà è rappresentata dal parcheggio, che in zona può risultare complicato da trovare, soprattutto nei periodi più affollati. Per il resto, tutto perfetto.

Paola es excepcionalmente amable. La estancia está muy bien ubicada, a unos pasos del mar. Es espaciosa, bien equipada y muy agradable. Una excelente opción para quedarse en este hermoso pueblo pesquero.

Poziția cazării a fost foarte bună, situată in centru, chiar lângă zona cu terase, magazine si zona portului vechi. Cameră a fost frumoasă, curată si suficient de spațioasă. Pentu parcarea unde am lasat masina, nu am plătit si era situată cam la 7-8 minute de mers pe jos.

Deși cameră avea o mica chicinetă, nu avea nici o dotare. Nici măcar pahare din care sa bem apa. Am sunat la proprietar pentru 2 pahare, a zis ca se rezolva, dar nu s-a rezolvat. Ni le-am cumpărat singuri.
