Staff very pleasant. Bedroom charming and clean. It was difficult to know where to check in and the stairs were very steep for an older person. However, as everything else was so nice I would stay there again so long as i am able for the stairs.

Food on the restaurant was exceptional. The staff that served us and checked us in were so helpful and friendly. Very attentive. Good room with lots of extras and breakfast bar nearby that I did not expect.

Walls between rooms very thin.

It was all very good . Restaurant food and bar drinks were great . Staff showed us round and were very friendly when we arrived .

It was quite noisy. Next room were quietly walking around and talking , but we could hear everything.

Comfortable and clean ,lovely atmosphere and friendly staff , lots of added extras made it feel extra special , would recommend and return

Very comfortable bed & quality of bedding. Warm & Cosy, nice big shower. Friendly manager & staff. Great food in the restaurant downstairs.

Nothing really except for breakfast I’d have preferred some toast ( there was cakes & croissants & cereals) & the orange juice in the fridge was left over from previous guests. Not a big deal.

Beverages and breakfast provisions were very good. The bed was very comfortable. Easy to find, good position.

First impression was of the stairwell. It hadn't been vacuumed and was covered in fluff and bits. Bathroom sink hadn't been cleaned and had scum stuck around it. The bathroom radiator didn't work, despite texting for assistance, as instructed, it didn't come on. It was freezing in the bathroom so I didn't shower. The tap was also difficult to turn on. There was a heavy fur throw on the bed which would be difficult to launder so we imagined wasn't very clean and therefore didn't use it. There was only one teaspoon available at the breakfast station so one porridge had to be eaten with a fork (tricky!) The windows are rotten. There is secondary glazing but you wouldn't be able to open the window in Summer for fresh air. Disappointing but so much potential to be great.
