Out of all the booking experiences I have had, this was the most impersonal. For the two days we stayed there I never saw the owners once and the overall experience was below my expectations. Overall the booking score was overrated and definitely not worth a 9.7!

This property has everything you need -5 minute walk to Piazza Duomo which has shopping, restaurants, Groceries. it has a comfortable bed, great lighting, an upstairs kitchen with balcony, a nice bathroom. The hosts (Alessia and Frank) were EXCEPTIONAL! They picked us up from the bus station in Ragusa Superior for 10 Euros — we took the bus from the Catania airport (Etna/2 hours). They booked taxis for us (we stayed 12 days and used it as a base to travel and do shorter day trips). They recommended excellent restaurants and things to do. Also, do 10 Euros per person, they arrange a full English and Italian breakfast with excellent coffee. Three minute walk. wonderful place, wonderful hosts.

Nothing. if walking is difficult, you should know there are some stairs to the property and kitchen, but was completely manageable for us 70 year olds.

The question with any review is would I stay here again and in this case the answer is YES. Great location in the old town and only a couple of minutes walk to the square. The building is nicely done with the lower floor having a stone vaulted ceiling which give it character. The owners were very helpful in suggestions on where to go and what to visit. The breakfast is at a local hotel 30 seconds walk from the front door which made life simple.

This is not a criticism of the property but its location would have made life more difficult if we were just using public transport as we had originally planned. In the end we hired a car whilst we explored the area which proved to be a very good decision as it allowed us to see sights we otherwise would have missed.
