Halcyon Days @ Langkawi

I came here with group of 4 for LIHM event. Got 2 rooms next to each other (1 & 2) that also interconnected with each other inside. 1 room has queen size bed while another one has 2 single beds. What do I like? ✓ location-wise is good. Close to airport, laundry, warung for breakfast, famous Cili Kampung restaurant. ✓ view also nice. They have pangkin for quest to sit and eat breakfast while enjoy being outside and see the view & cows ✓ very helpful staff. The boss is reachable thru whatsapp but they got also staff-in charge there. I must they are helpful & willing to help. For example, we told him that we're gonna go out early 530am in the morning & he had no problem to help us open the gate (fyi the gate is locked 12am - 7am). Another example is that - I'm asking for febreeze cuz the pillow somehow smells unpleasant, so he went out and bought 1 for us to use. Service? Excellent. ✓ clean. Altho we found 1 cockroach but I think that came in from outside (maybe). Other than that, I think rooms are clean. ✓ bathroom is spacious enough. Got heater. ✓ has pantry and coway for you too get hot water, make some coffee. Also got big refrigerator there.

- breakfast included. BUT we think they are not that great. That got few choices like nasi lemak, nasi ayam kunyit etc but the taste just average or below average. They didnt cook themselves, they bought the breakfast outside. Maybe each guest's breakfast around RM2-3. It's okay (at least has breakfast) but if you prefer to have better meal in the morning, it's recommended to just find some warung nearby to eat. But you can choose either to have breakfast or not. So it's optional. - no privacy if you have stranger as your next door neighbour because there's no soundproofing. We could here almost everything from next room. It's suitable if you bring family or come with friends so you can take two rooms that next to each other.

A nice and quiet place to stay in Langkawi for those who want a simple, yet comfortable stay. Breakfast was included and a motorcycle was available for rent from them. It’s only 15 minutes away from the airport and pantai cenang main beach by grab or motorcycle. The room is basic but very clean and spacious. The garden is beautiful too with areas where you can chill and relax outdoors. Communication with the host was great. Would highly recommend.
