GBWe booked this stunning property extremely last minute. I called the host to enquire about our elderly dog staying and how easy the outdoor access was. He was very informative and provided me with the information I required to book our stay. We arrived at the accommodation, it exceeded our expectations so much we booked for another night within minutes of arriving. This place is central to the top and bottom of Windermere. For those who have never been, it’s a ten minute walk to the main lake with bustling bars and restaurants. In the opposite direction it’s a 5 minute walk to the top with equal measures of bars, restaurants and tourists shops. We couldn’t ask for a better location. Spotless accommodation with outdoor access for our elderly dog. The outdoor patio from the bedroom led to a stunning outdoor south facing garden that was a real bonus. An additional bonus is the lounge area, a huge dining table, a large flat screen tv and the comfiest sofas!! It’s been a blast. We would 1000% recommend this place and will revisit.

I knew about the facilities before i got there but its name is Kotel ..i think meaning Hotel . But no bar , no breakfast facilities . But for the money i think there should be more facilities . My room was an apartment ..but really it was just a big room with a extra sink , plates/cutlery and a small table . The shower at 7 pm was cold ... The wifi signal was rubbish
