Soy Local Insignia

Beautiful property, tons of plants and 3 pools. Great little bar on roof with pool and great jugos! Walkable to old city (<10 min). Has a little market store around corner. Very clean, nice staff. No complaints about hotel. We had a room in the B area, so it was quieter, which we wanted. My only complaint. DO NOT book a tour through hotel, we got ripped off. It was expensive and it what was advertised was not true. We wanted a tour with paddle boards. Rosario island had one and it was NOT usable, it was deflated, had no fin, and no SUP paddle. They used a kayak paddle and cut it off (it was too short). The kayaks didn’t have seats. They did not serve the fruit salad as advertised. The water had a ton of trash. We were told it would be calm and no party music, and they blasted annoying music, not even Colombian music. It left 1.5 hour earlier than advertised due to wind and the almost 2 hour ride back was very dangerous. The captain was a good captain, but if you get sea sick, highly advised against. This trip was a waste of time.

Very nice hotel in a interesting area…

We had a great stay at the Soy Local Insignia! The triple room was great for 2 adults and 1 child. The website does not do justice to the pools!! There are 3 total in different locations. None was very big but still decent size. My 7 year old son loved it. It is a loud neighborhood in terms of night life so don’t stay in the area if you are expecting it to be very quiet or bring ear plugs. But we liked how much activity was right outside the door and how walkable the area is. Very nice hotel!

Reasonably priced fir location. 5 min walk from clock tower. Very friendly staff. Very very clean and modern rooms. 3 pools were ok. Small and not as clean as it should be but a nice place the chill a beat the heat of the day. Liked the roof top bar and pool. Convenient stories right around the corner. Very lively area. Im definitely visiting there in the near future.

Exelente lugar , las habitaciones modernas, comodas, amplio y moderno banio, tres piscinas, es demasiado acogedor.

Apart from being a bit noisy on the weekend, the hotel is very well located, close to everything! We were lucky to get room at the back away from the street noise and also the room was newly renovated

The first day I got in there was no electricity for nearly 5 hours and the last day so there was no electricity it’s super hot and annoying. The only Good thing about the hotel is the location.
