Good location, clean, confortable

Just like most hostels in the canaries: overpriced

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Hostel, Lage ist sehr zentral und das ganze Hostel hat eine gute und freundliche Atmosphäre.

Eigentlich ein bisschen zu teuer für einen Dorm.

La limpieza.

El personal no respeta ni promueve el descanso. Sino todo lo contrario. Se quedan charlando con los huéspedes hasta muy tarde para luego fregar platos de madrugada y meterse en la habitación compartida de mujeres, haciendo ruido después de las 2:30 de la madrugada. Parece un lugar para socializar más que un lugar para descansar. Iria mejor si respetarán la regla del pasillo, "silencio a partir de las 21:00h" pero el personal no lo cumple, los huéspedes que no quieren dormir, tampoco. Otra cuestión a mejorar serían lugares para poner ropa o mochilas en el baño. Unos colgadores vendrían muy bien. Urgente, cambiar el hervidor de agua que funciona de forma aleatoria.

LIKED....... The Staff, they all spoke different levels of English, they were welcoming & Beds were comfortable. You know the sheets etc., are clean as washing machine is in the small toilet. (Which you can use for 5€ Terrace was brilliant as quiet time is 9pm onwards so you can still chat to new friends on the roof. They supply fleece blankets for night time and clean towel when you ask. You can also learn to Surf or continue to a better level as all the staff seemed to go surfing lots as did most of the Clients. These people saved my holiday. I was too ill to travel on 10th January due to a filthy hotel previous 2 weeks. I found Single Fin Surf Hostel on booking.com and moved in 5 hours later. Location is very near the sea and shops. The photos I have included are of surrounding areas as I don't seem to have any of the Hostel Thank you so much Single Fin, you really did help me. I am now in El Medino 7 nights as flight company forgot to check me in.

Didn't like,,,,,, The kitchen was too small and the fridge messy but that is clients fault for not labelling the food . Only about 2 feet between 2 sets of bunks in my room. No storage for clothes or medication but we all got on and didn't really see that much of eachother. I DID choose the cheapest option on booking. com and the building only has 1 floor + the roof terrace,so, I imagine it was a traditional Canarian house once. As long as people are nice and considerate there's no problem.
