Baletin Hometel Batanes

Baletin Hometel feels like home away from home. The people were warm and very accommodating, most especially Sir Bert who has been so generous in terms of everything. Batanes is a beautiful place in general, definitely worthy of your bucket list, and we highly recommend Baletin to be your safe space to stay with.

Very clean and close to the city centre. Sir Bert and Mam Joy made sure we have all our needs and requests accomodated. They were also very restpectful and kind to us.

The owners were very accommodating. You can clearly tell that they love hosting guests. Location is very convenient – close to the plaza and the light house. My room was very clean. They provided free service to and fro the airport.

The fire/smoke alarm in my room was beeping, so had trouble sleeping. Water pressure with the faucet on the lavatory was not that strong (though the rest of the fixtures were ok). WiFi was not properly working.

Exceptional service by the owners, who go out of their way to be helpful. Very reasonably priced.

Bathroom was small and simple but this is not a typical hotel but more like a home turned into a hotel, thus the name "hometel".

I badly needed a place to stay during my Batanes adventure since i was stranded in Itbayat , booked here Baletin w/out any hesitation NO REGRET staff are very accommodating , owners are kind, always asking you if you need help, stayed here from Nov 7 to Nov 13 supposedly NoV 7 - Nov 9 but i extend my stay in Basco to enjoy 👍💯✓✓ SUPERB

Maybe just the food, but it's free anyway you can roam around Basco There are a lot of selections of resto/carinderia, cafe, pizza house around for you to choose walk and ask from locals , shared my stargazing photos below 😀

Staff are welcoming and very kind and helpful. Food is great and servings are enough for all of us. A little bit pricey but understandable. Many thanks to Sir Bert and Ma'am Julia as well as to Kuya Harry and Kuya Vic for the exceptional services extended to us! love to go back there!

WiFi didn’t reach 3rd floor. For the tour, would like to suggest to include Ivatan food in at least one of the lunch and include visit to souvenir shop.
