"A lovely traditional B & B, central to most things with a very friendly host!"

10.0

Our host, Ray, was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for him. He gave us plenty of useful information about the area and was happy to answer any of our questions. Our room was very spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable and we also had a couple of chairs to sit on which is a nice bonus as not all B & Bs offer this, sometimes you just get a bed. The shower was roomy and the bathroom itself a decent size. The breakfasts were lovely, with plenty to eat and a good selection to pick from. From the property it's just a straight foward walk into the town centre which only took us about ten minutes, and we are slow on our feet! We would certainly recommend a stay here.

We can't really fault anything at all. If we really wanted to nit pick, to get from the train station there is quite a steep slope to navigate to get up to Gravel Hill, where The Mount is, and we struggled a bit with this but that's due to our mobility not being the best, not The Mount's fault! (We also found out later, there is another slope we could have taken, which took a bit longer but wasn't as steep - we tried it and it was better).

The Guesthouse was in an ideal location to visit by foot the sites of Ludlow. Parking on the front. The host (Ray) was charming and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious. The room was large and airy with comfy bed. A small fridge with water and milk provided. I cannot fault it.

The Mount was comfortable, well equipped and very friendly in a large house with lots of character . There was lots of useful local info, parking and places to eat in easy walking distance. it was about a 10 minute walk from Ludlow historic town centre. There was a lovely view out from the back.

Nothing to report.

"Pleasant enjoyable. Ludlow is a lovely interesting place to visit."

10.0

The property was a lovely building . Very central for the town. Railway station was near. . Ray and his wife keep it very clean. The breakfast is good quality sausage and bacon. Fridge with cold water tea and coffee facilities. Parking on site. Nothing is too much trouble. Ray recommended some eating places.

Can’t really think of any. If I had to be picky there is a busy road outside. If that’s a problem if you ask Ray I’m sure he would give you a back room. It’s only because we live on a quiet cul de sac that I noticed it. I had my earplugs so not a problem and traffic noise stopped late in the evening and started again about 7.00am
