The owners were very friendly and approachable The evening meal was nicely cooked and the menu suitable for families - the waitress was very helpful Breakfast - freshly cooked and very enjoyable - comprehensive range to choose from

No issues or concerns

Set in a lovely village location close to a Victorian spa town with lovely views. Near also to stunning Elan Valley.

Breakfast was great but would have liked a later than 9am deadline for a Sunday. However the staff were very amenable to us being a little late down.

A good local pub with lovely rooms

The evening meal was lovely, especially the mushroom soup as a starter. I was there on the quiz night on a Wednesday and was made to feel very welcome by the owner, the quiz master and the locals.

I cant think of anything I would change.

Breakfast was excellent. Artisan bread for toast. Nothing too much trouble for staff. Evening meal menu had nice choices for sensible prices. They handled being very busy well. Decor clean and nice. Good layout. Ten minutes from Builth. A very warm welcome.

No frills spotlessly clean tradional guest house that offers everything you need.

You don't expect 30 degree days and tropical nights in September but this is what we had. So could of done with a/c in the room but on any other normal british summer day you wouldn't need it.
