Gardesana Active Apartments

The property was well located in the centre of the town. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Everything you needed was supplied.

Nothing, was perfect

We were pleasantly surprised to be taken to an apartment about a 5-minute drive up from the town center rather than the in-town address shown in the listing. Apparently this property hostess manages several apartments. She meet us at a parking lot in town and we followed her to a quiet complex with a lovely pool and a great view from the balcony. The tidy apartment has a kitchenette with small stove, refrigerator, and microwave. There were plenty of dishes, glassware, and flatware, plus a few cooking pots/pans and other items for cooking. There was a futon/couch in the living area that could have accommodate another guest or two, and a nice-sized eating table. The bathroom was pretty standard size for Europe. We appreciated that there were two small fans as, with virtually all windows in Italy, there were no screens and we could not leave the windows and big sliding door open in the evening when bugs would be attracted to the inside lights. Carolina has a strong personality, and she was prompt and helpful with communication using both Whatsapp and the Booking messages. She also offered us a parking space near the town center if we wanted to park there while touring the town as well as offering suggestions for things to see and places to eat. Tip: Al Cervo is a very short walk and is great.

Two suggestions we'd make: - we cooked one dinner at the apartment and were not able to locate basic cooking supplies like salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. These would have been nice to have - the WiFi worked fine in the living area but not on the balcony or in the bedroom. For example, we wanted to do a Skype call to our family on the balcony but were not able to.

Very Beautiful and calm place. People likes relaxing there and calm. There is very nice swiming pool, you can play tenis, youn can see Castle from balcony. Very good apartment good space, modern and really good place. We came by car, you have to go about 1,5km to the town isn ´t so close. But you can use bikes it is included in price. The owner of the apartment is very polite and give you advices where you should go. There is restaurant close to all resort.

We had the best stay at Gardesana Active Apartments! We loved the view from the balcony so much that we rather made food and ate on the balcony than going out to a restaurant for dinner. The kitchen facilities were really great for this as well. The hosts were so friendly, kind, and helpful. The fact that you can use the bicycles for free was amazing! It's the most beautiful cycle along the promenade. Malcesine is such a lovely place to visit. All in all, very really loved this place, wish we stayed longer.

The apartment is very modern and clean, with great views of the lake and the castle. It is located in the center of Malcesine, close to the bus station and supermarket. The lakefront with restaurants and bars is in a 3 minute walk. Free parking is offered. The host, Carolina and her son Federico, are very welcoming and friendly and provided great tips for exploring the area.

Very friendly welcome. Cozy and clean apartment! The large terrace was a great added value. Definitely worth it!
