Hotel Beijers

Établissement plein de charme à proximité du centre-ville.

Location was great!

The bathroom needs improvement - no hooks or towel bars, the toilet seat was loose, and the black slate floor was stained with mineral deposits. The curtains let light in and it was very expensive for what it provided.

The house is an unusual vintage house, once a historic family home. As older visitors my sister and I appreciated having a spacious room on the ground floor. The location of this hotel is exceptional as it is only yards from the ancient centre of the city. There are inevitably steps up into the hotel , though with two good handrails, (which would not suit anyone with mobility difficulties.) the historic nature of the house prevents the construction of a lift. The plus side is an experience of real character. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom well designed.

The breakfast was essentially the same every day and as we stayed for six nights this became very predictable but it was well arranged and the staff were helpful .

De locatie was top! Midden in het centrum, maar toch zo rustig op de kamer. Kamer was groot en mooi ingericht. Het ontbijt was prima.

Bij het ontbijt zaten 2 gekookte eieren, maar die waren beide koud. Verder prima ontbijt.

We hebben geen ontbijt afgenomen, maar de locatie was top, midden in het centrum!

Het enige wat een beetje minder was, (tegenvallen vind ik een te groot woord), was het geluid van andere kamers, het was best wel gehorig en ik dacht dat andere ons waarschijnlijk ook goed konden horen, dus ik heb mijn dochter een paar keer gezegd om zachtjes te doen.
