The staff was polite, kind, and helpful. It was the best stay of our journey in Japan. The architecture and the interior of the hotel are really fascinating. As an architect, I love the courtyard inside the hotel and the entrance as well. They have 2 different styles of breakfast, both Western and Japanese cuisine. Our room was well-decorated and spacious. Our daughter loved playing around the room. Even though the hotel is not close to most of the city's attractions, the shuttle keeps you connected to the city center. It leaves every 20 minutes until 21:40. If I ever come back to Kyoto, and I hope I will, I'd still stay here for sure!
