Wonderful hotel in an outstanding location. Despite being in the center of things, our room was a quiet and comfortable retreat. Furnishings were plush and comfortable. Can’t wait to return!

"A beautiful property full of period charm."

A magical experience at this beautiful property. The property is perfectly located in the heart of Salzburg and retains all of its period charm. What’s impressive is that the rooms and the hotel have been modernised from the perspective of infrastructure and technology, but without compromising its homely charm. The staff were all wonderful, especially Anja who took good care of us during our stay. Restaurant Herzl is worth a try, the food was excellent, especially the schnitzel! We would love to go back again one day and see more of Salzburg.

I was spoiled by the staff at the Goldener Hirsch! I shared with the concierge when I made my reservation that my husband and I were celebrating our 35th anniversary and that I had stayed at this hotel 40 years ago and I wanted to share it with my husband. We received a lovely welcome note, fresh fruit and pasterie upon arrival and later in the day a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. The attention to detail was unsurpassed! It was a lovely trip and we will be back again! Thank you Hotel Goldener Hirsch

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect!

Frühstück super, aber sehr teuer € 50,-/Person Lage hervorragend zu Fuß ins Festspielhaus

Dusche statt Badewanne wäre komfortabler! Frankfurter nach der Oper an der Bar warteten schon sehr lange auf ihren Einsatz
