This hotel is exactly what we were looking for-authentic, charming, centrally located for exploring Salzburg on foot. Great staff and nice bar/restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised upon checking in at how ideal the locatiin was-on a "fancy street" which was great for shopping/window shopping, and people watching. Lots of restaurants and historic sites nearby as well. Felt very safe. The staff was very helpful in arranging dinner reservations, and securing city-pass tickets. The only downside, if its important to you, is no gym or spa but that wasn't an issue with us-we managed to get our steps in and if you wanted to get a spa day pass the front desk had a suggestion for us but we didnt follow up. Lots to see and do here-we spent 4 nights and it was perfect. I'd choose this again over the other options in town.

Hervorragender Service, geschmackvolle Räume, tolles Frühstück!

Patrick an der Bar und der Concierge waren ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlte sich sofort gut aufgehoben. Das Zimmer war sehr charmant und die Lage wirklich einzigartig zentral.

Wir sind mit einem kleinen, ruhigen Hund angereist (Bolonka). Die Zusatzkosten von EUR 90 pro Nacht liegen fern jeder Verhältnismässigkeit. Wir reisen oft mit Hund, auch in hochwertigen Hotels, und haben nie einen solchen Betrag bezahlt. Wenn Hunde unerwünscht sind, soll das Hotel sie nicht zulassen. Sich jedoch als haustierfreundlich zu positionieren und dann einen derart hohen Preis zu verlangen, ist nicht vertretbar. Nach meiner Beschwerde wurde uns ein Frühstück angeboten, was wir anerkennen. Trotzdem sollte das Hotel die Preisgestaltung oder ein generelles Hundeverbot grundlegend prüfen.

Der Empfang Frau Yuliyia war unbeschreiblich unaufmerksam, wir haben unser Gepäck abgestellt und es etwas später nochmals vergeblich versucht. Dann fragten wir nach einem Besuch in der Sauna des befreundeten Hotels Sheraton. Das wurde uns versagt und dafür ein Schlosshotel auf dem Mönchsberg empfohlen, wohlwissendlich, dass es seit geraumer Zeit geschlossen ist. Asonsten haben wir ausschließlich freundliches ud hilfsbereites Personal angetroffen und genoßen.
