"bad service"

i ordered ice cream 3 hours ago and then i repeatedly asked for it to one specific waiter and then at the end of the day when i asked why they didnt give me my ice cream he eyed me and ignored me.

My wife and I spent a wonderful Xmas break at the Sheraton, Addis, which continues to be the premier establishment in Addis Ababa. All of the staff are exceptionally well-trained and carry out duties with the utmost sense of pride and with the warmth of a welcoming style. The hotel has great amenities and facilities providing guests with the opportunity to relax in a safe and secure environment away from the harassment which can exist on street level in other parts of the city. This is a very family friendly hotel with lots of children enjoying the fabulous swimming facilities. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes away from Bole International Airport. We will return soon.

The service and hotel facilities

There was a huge selection but we found it a little bland considering it's supposed to be the best hotel in Addis. Maybe I was expecting something better. The big disappointment was the number of badly behaved children who are allowed to run around screaming in the dining areas. It totally spoilt my stay there.

Very spacious and comfortable room, in very good condition and quiet, which made our stay very relaxing. The service throughout the hotel was consistently great, with staff always attentive and professional. We also really enjoyed the restaurants and the breakfast, which offered good quality and variety. Overall, everything contributed to a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

There was nothing significant that we did not like during our stay. Everything went very smoothly, and we were satisfied with the room, service, and facilities overall.

"Perfect Place to Relax"

Colonia look and feel. Great vibe and we loved the decor. We came here after 3 months tour of East Africa and it was a perfect place to end the journey. Staff is so welcoming and simply great!!!

The view from our room of a tent and a parking lot. the fact that there is no shower cubical (you shower inside the bath). The pool that was not heated and...the price we paid. we understand the Indian prime minister visited the hotel, but this is no reason to charge $450/night...regardless, we had a great time!!!
