Courtyard by Marriott Pueblo Downtown

Chose this Marriott out of the three downtown to stay at since it was the furthest away from I-25 and potential interstate noise. It was “ok”. Staff was very friendly. Renovations were going on, however, we were on the 7th floor and arrived later in the day and left early in the morning so that did not affect us. Our room was average. AC did work and we had two queen beds. Bathroom needed a better cleaning from prior guests and bathroom towels should have been recycled. Lots of stains on towels that made them feel dirty. Shower head needed replacement. Toilet felt like at any moment it was going to need a plunger and maintenance help. There was a short burst of late night traffic racing which is basically a thing along I-25 (Santa Fe, Albuquerque, etc). Hotel was within minutes of the river walk area and restaurants so that was nice. Really nothing provided for breakfast so one would have to seek that elsewhere. Considering other options, most likely would look to stay elsewhere next time.

Uniquely bad in that were “renovating” while paying customers stayed at the property; with pounding on the walls and floors when you were trying to sleep. No warning on the reservation web site. Will make me think twice about Marriott.

We were in Pueblo for a car race and choose this hotel because it had the best ratings, even though lower tier hotels were closer to the track. Unfortunately, when we checked in, the room we were told that the room we booked, a king suite, had been sold to someone else. Instead, they put us in a room on the second floor with tattered curtains, a musty odor and facing the hvac system on the roof. We were thankfully moved to a room that was not falling apart, but the whole property seems very worn and dated. Would not return here.

It was great enjoyed my stay

Staff was helpful, attentive and kind. Rooms were okay. We had a suite with 3 people and only enough towels for 2. Climate control was a little wonky too. Bedroom was controllable but the living room was warm and stuffy. All in all it was fine for a 1 night stay. Great area to stay in Pueblo, there were many great restaurants witjin walking distance.

We stay every year for a Bowling tournament. The hotel is always under construction, but not sure what they are doing. Its just a 2.5 to 3 rated hotel. Yogurt from the cafe was spoiled.

Told the manager she should eat off the disgusting breakfast bar .no hot water ..food had not been brought in for dinner service or breakfast off the menu..the staff knew it was all bad and were so pleasant to us..the no hot water was for the shower!!! Great staff!!!

I was extremely disappointed by this stay. My room had no Working air and room was over 80 degrees during the night with no fan. Asked to have it fixed when I went to dinner and when I got back it was still not working. I’m the morning no blow dryer was in the room. Called to get one sent up and no one ever came? Had to leave with damp hair for the conference. Could barely sleep with no AC. Awful experience
