Munich Airport Marriott Hotel

My family and I traveled to Germany from March 15–21, and our stay at the Marriott Freising played a huge role in making the trip such a success. This was my family’s first time in Europe, though I’ve traveled extensively throughout the EU for work—and I’ve even stayed at this same hotel before. This time, however, the experience truly exceeded expectations. We wanted to explore beyond Munich (Salzburg, Rothenburg, Dachau, Neuschwanstein, etc.), so finding a hotel with easy parking and quick access to the highway—without being in downtown Munich—was important to us. This hotel was absolutely perfect for that purpose. Our flight was delayed by 24 hours, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating with our late arrival, which immediately set a positive tone. The rooms were clean, comfortable, well-sized for our family, and equipped with just the right amenities. One small suggestion would be to provide complimentary water in the rooms, rather than only offering refill stations in the fitness center. We used the hotel as our launching point for daily adventures, and the breakfast alone deserves special recognition. I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties (I’ve been Titanium for over a decade), and this was without question the best breakfast I’ve experienced—outstanding service, exceptional quality, and an impressive selection. Starting the day with a fresh pretzel alongside both traditional German options and familiar American favorites was a highlight for all of us. If I had one suggestion, it would be to offer decaf coffee. I also used the fitness center and found it well equipped with no complaints at all. Most importantly, the staff throughout the hotel was consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location truly surprised us in the best way. It’s close enough to the airport to be convenient, yet far enough away to feel like a true vacation spot, nestled in a quiet Bavarian town with cobblestone streets, local shops, bakeries, and even a train station. Freising ended up being more than just a place to sleep—it became part of our destination. This Marriott absolutely knocked it out of the park, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking to explore Bavaria.

Wir hatten ein sehr schön renoviertes Zimmer. Sehr schöne Dekoration mit vielen Details, alles sehr sauber, neu und hochwertig. Der wellness Bereich war sehr schön und ruhig, mit genügend Handtüchern, toller swimming pool. Das personal war sehr freundlich. Es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen und wir werden garantiert wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Unser Zimmer war leider viel zu warm, obwohl es draußen, Anfang April, nicht warm war. Es lag sicher daran, dass das Zimmer im 1.OG direkt über den Pool und Wellness Bereich war und die Klimaanlage noch nicht funktioniert hat. Ich fand auch nicht gut, dass die Zimmer erst nach drei Tagen gereinigt werden. Ich brauche nicht gleich nach der ersten Nacht eine komplette Reinigung oder frische Bettwäsche, aber das Bad saugen und putzen müsste spätestens nach der zweiten Nacht drinnen sein. Es lagen Informationen im Zimmer, dass die Option bestand, eine Reinigung zu bestellen, aber wir haben es diesmal nicht in Anspruch genommen. Nächstes Mal aber sicher.

Freundlicher Eindruck, nette Mitarbeiter, großzügige Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt in Freising, ist also nicht am Flughafen. Ein gutes Restaurant rundet denBesuch ab.

Der Shuttle zum Flughafen kostet 15 €. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, man kann die Fenster nur Kippen.

From the very first moment we were made feel welcomed and looked after, allowing us to enjoy our stay in Freising to the fullest. The beds were particularly comfortable and we all enjoyed restful nights. Breakfast buffet was amazing with local specialities alongside European/international options, and my fried eggs were made to perfection. The whole Marriott team was exceptional, friendly and always willing to help. Will definitely stay here again.

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, es gab ein sehr abwechslungsreiches Angebot. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam !
