Munich Airport Marriott Hotel

Richtig tolles Hotel, leckeres Frühstück. Wir bekamen ein renoviertes Zimmer.

The hotel's location is very good & walking distance of the beautiful little town. Good facilities & breakfast.

The indoor swimming pool was excellent, but we were told to leave in the afternoon because of swimming lessons for kids.

The room we had was a good size and due to airline changes we ended up having 3 consecutive bookings for which we did not have to change rooms (same room type booked for all 3 bookings, ended up being a long stay).

For one morning we ordered a normal taxi at reception for a specific time; the reception staff took it upon themselves to use a black van (not marked taxi) and wanted to charge us an inflated fee (much more than a taxi, no meter). We advised reception that we wanted a normal taxi as we had reqested be booked the night before, which the gentlemen on reception said he would do but actually didn't. It was then our pick up time and still no taxi so again spoke to reception, this time I waited to make sure the call was made and was told they do not have any taxi's available but one will come when there is one. We returned to wait outside, still no taxi and once it was obvious we were now going to miss our tour time at Weihenstephaner Brewery I returned to reception and told them to cancel it as we had now missed our tour. Terrible service from the gentleman on reception! The first morning we had breakfast from the a la carte menu, their buffet is very expensive. Food was okay but service wasn't good so for the next week we went to the supermarket in Freising and bought cereal, milk, yoghurt etc which was a much better option! The free coffee station in the foyer kept having the machine removed to use in a conference room so the staff at reception advised guests are to use the machine in the breakfast room but the breakfast room staff were very rude and on one day did not allow us to use it! Apart from the bar staff all other staff were not friendly or helpful!

Schwimmbad, Sauna, ein perfektes Frühstück und ein sehr bequemes Bett, was will man mehr?! :)

Parkhaus zu klein. Wenig Parkplätze vor dem Hotel.

Location!

Not enough staff, especially in restaurant. Restaurant food was mediocre at best and service slow because of short staffing.
