Pool wasn’t the cleanest

The front desk woman was friendly

The room key to the handicap accessible room did not work unless we used the key twice, but in order to use it twice we had to wait a full 45 seconds for it it cycle the first attempt. Then, the key didn't work at all even with the front desk master key. It took over 20+ times for it to work. We are traveling across country and this hotel had 8.9 on booking and 4.4/5 on google, but it was deceiving. The front lobby and 1st floor hallway smelled like Marijuana. There were people doing drugs in the parking lot. The bathroom wasn't very clean and appeared to have black mold spots due to a lack of a working fan. There was also bubbling and peeling paint. There was also a bottle of lotion and conditioner with no shampoo (thankfully I brought my own). We were told that the stay would be discounted because of our troubles and the desk clerk would speak to the owner/manager but the full amount came out of my account. It was offered for the person needing an accessible room to move rooms, but it was almost 1am and he had already set up everything in the room that he needed and we needed to be up by 5am. People were either in the hallways or in their rooms being loud and seeing as we were not staying far from the front desk, it was disappointing that the desk clerk didn't ask those guests to quiet down.

My refrigerator wasn't working and the staff took care of it right away. No waiting, no hassle.

I didn't know alot of truck drivers stay there.
