Baymont by Wyndham Monroe

Our first night we had very noisy neighbors in our adjoining room and it was late at night. Our second day, I noticed that our room had not been serviced by housekeeping and we were gone all day long.

The lobby was full of people. It took an hour to check the 4 people in front of me in. While finally at the counter, my daughter started checking reviews for similar problems. She found several recent reviews for bedbugs. When I got the room keys I told my daughter to wait in the lobby while I checked the room for cleanliness. When I pulled up the sheets there was blood stains from bedbugs. I walked directly back to the lobby and placed the keys on the counter. I said I an not staying here, there is recent evidence of bedbugs and left. I never stayed in the room. I want a full refund. I have pictures of the blood on the mattress. While looking for a new hotel my daughter read the online reviews. HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN? This review will not allow me to ad pictures.

Checked in during Power Tour. They only had one young lady at the front desk. No fault of hers but I waited 45 minutes in line to get checked. Had to pay an additional 100$ for safety deposit at time of check in. Finally got checked in and on the way to our room, other guest staying there informed us of bugs in the room. We tore apart the room and sure enough under one mattress was crawling bugs. After a google search determined it was bed bugs and there was shells of bed bugs under the beds that clearly had not been cleaned up in many stays. We left and politely told the young lady at the front desk we were not staying due to conditions and ask for a refund. We also had pictures and videos of the bugs. She stated no problem money would be refunded. Long story short week later I had to make a claim with my credit card company to try and get the charge taken off. The deposit and room charge is still there. The day we left I know of three other people that left due to bugs as well. Hate to leave a review bad of any kind but after my experience avoid this hotel if possible.

I was in town for a traveling car show. When the show was over i was looking foward to my hotel. The problem was i coundnt find it. A very dark area with no streetlights. The only lighting came from the 7 Marijuana superstores in that immediate area. On my fifth trip by the area I finally found a small unlit sign for baymont. When I pulled in to check in I told the lady.The sign on the main highway is not lit and hard to see her response is.We are sold out and have no rooms, but she would tell the owner the sign should be on. I asked her. Don't you want the people who are registered to be able to find the place? And once again she replied, we are sold out.

It took 45 minutes y get checked in to the Hotel. Not the fault of the kind girl working the front desk. She was doing her very best as only one person can. She did have another person working with her but the line of people wanting to check in, they just put a sign up and walked away. Leaving only one person to check in over 15 guests. Plus the computer system was very slow and out dated making each guest checking in take at least 15 minutes. Very very disappointing. .

For the price it was decent. If you’re just looking for a place to stay it will do. The bed was comfortable the front desk clerk was friendly. I just didn’t care for the small pillows

Actually never checked in. The expedia rep was going to try to get a refund but no response on that. Reports of brd bugs just a week ago. And the propery is unkept

The guy when we checked was patient and nice, but when got down to our hall it smelled like cat pee, our room smelled like pee and cigarettes. I checked out at 8 pm and the night clerk was rude about our decision to leave and was mad that I didnt talk to the manager.

Paid for the room upfront through Expedia. Arrived, was made to pay an $100 deposit at check in that was never mentioned on any part of Expedia’s website. The lady at the desk was super rude, and acted like she was annoyed to even check me in. I proceed to give her my card for deposit. She then charges me again for the room, not deposit, then runs my card for $120, not $100. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days to get the money back I was wrongfully charged for, and also for a security deposit that was never mentioned on the Expedia website that was due at time if stay.

The staff is always helpful and friendly. Don't have anything negative to say about our stay.
