Bed was short sheeted, no body wash in shower container, freezer needs defrosting, bed frame made sweeping noise.

Rooms could be a lot cleaner., for the price Homeless camp next door. Slept fine but other hotels in town might be better. Needs remodel.

"The Good": Baymont is an OK hotel that has interior hallways for the price in the immediate area . The bedding was clean, and the staff was friendly. It is next to the Black Bear Diner that, in my opinion, offers above average meals, so that is plus. "The Bad": It was not the worst place I have stayed at in the area, but it is pretty dated and appears "well lived in" (I stayed at another competitor's hotel a few blocks away that also has interior hallways a few weeks earlier, a stay that prompted me to try the Baymont... you can connect the dots). Although the grounds and room were so-so clean, it is evident that occasional deep cleaning is rarely done. "The Ugly": There were no usb ports to charge electronics, a lamp was unplugged and inoperative due to the knob of the switch was missing. The shower wall had a hole in it, and sink had a crack (was not linking). I had to plug in the alarm clock and set the time. The TV was small and had mediocre reception on half the channels. The ice machine in the hallway was inoperative, and the in-room phone had a red light blinking, but the phone had no index overlay giving directions on how to access any messages, call the front desk, etc. Outdoor security cameras appear to be non-operative with wires that have been cut. The breakfast is subpar with other hotels. Except for bagels and a toaster, the hot breakfast consists of microwavable packets for items such as a sausage/egg muffin or a sugar-coated waffle. In summary, although the Baymont is not perfect, it is better than other cheap motels that are in the area that cost much less. And unless you want to spend approximately an additional $50 to $100 for a room with potentially better facilities, amenities and reviews, this is one of your better options for a hotel in Yreka that has interior hallways. You will save a $100 or so, but you will have to put up with imperfections of the Baymont that come with the savings.

Everyone on staff from the time we arrived was amazing. From Check in, Check out, housekeepers that I had asked questions to. It was clean the room was wonderful a little out dated phones TV's and microwaves but you can tell mangers and staff care for there customers Which to me is 100% important . I work in customer service. Also the pool was beautiful I and my family checked in due to having to go the a funeral I had all around blessed experience which was needed for all that we were going thought thank you Baymont in Yreka Ca

Facility does not worth for room price and breakfast is pathetic.

I was not happy about the Bath not having a flat counter to even put your shaving needs and tooth brush on. Just a sink stuck on the wall, a toilet and the handicap bars used as a towel rack as there weren't any racks for the towels. The timer knob in the bathroom was gone so that was unuseable. The bedside lamp was inop until I found it was unplugged. There was crap under the desk and it makes a person wonder if the room was even sweep.

the staff were pleasant and helpful. i liked that there were plenty of places to eat and shop in walking distance. the area was clean
