Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check-in was smooth and easy.

The street noise outside was a little loud, but not too much of a nuisance.

The location is convenient to everything.

No desk or overhead light in room.

The location is perfect. 12 minute walk down Cannery Row to the Monterey Aquarium at the end of the road. Right off San Carlos beach.

New ownership I believe. We have stayed at this location many times in the past. Parking used to be free, room prices have gone up. The property has been updated with cheap fixtures and landlord specials with poorly painted rooms, cheap flooring and outdated furniture. The television in the room is tiny, the lighting is poor and the only mirror in the room is inside the bathroom. Makes the room seem dark and uncomfortable. Also makes it difficult for family to get ready at the same time. The shower fixtures leaked water all over the bathroom, I spent time each day cleaning up the water that pooled all the way out to the sink area. It was reported they said they could send maintenance to the room to look at it. I felt like a better option would have been to offer an other room rather than have maintenance come into the room to fix a plumbing problem. We ended up leaving a day earlier. No discount offered. The cheap flooring is also not well insulated, the room above us was loud, you could hear every foot step the family made. We used to love this place, now it’s over priced and the upkeep is poor. The owners don’t seem to love or appreciate what they have. Very sad.

Nothing. Only good thing is i only booked for one night.

I wouldn't give even a one star. Very disappointing- towels not clean,room looks like 50 years old,shower tap half broken,took 30 minutes for a shower as water level from shower so weak. Rooms smell. Must say i choose as re reviews but either they are paid for or fakes as nothing prepared me for what we received .I booked 2 rooms and both had same complaints.

It was clean and good value. Parking available for a fee. It was nice to park the car and be able to walk everywhere. It’s very close to cannery row and the aquarium. You can also catch the free trolly right outside the inn.

They might want to spruce it up a little, updates possibly, make it look a little fancier. Overall a great place though.
