John Yancey Oceanfront Inn

Location! The hotel had beach access from the hotel and was situated almost dead center between two lifeguard stands. Furthermore, restaurants were walkable from the hotel, which helped a lot due to a lot of small parking lots at the restaurants. Also, and something I didn't realize right away , but they have clean bathrooms and a private shower attached to the hotel near their gazebo deck (not including the quick shower they have), so you do not have to walk back to your room to use the bathroom.

The breakfast was okay.. two waffle makes, hard boiled eggs, bread (bagels included) , frozen biscuit sandwiches, and cereal was the primary food. However, the location compensated for the lack of breakfast. Second thing was the bathroom door. In our room the bathroom door was a interior barn door, so it was left open spaces to the bathroom. The last thing was there was no complimentary towels at the pool. These things were minor and really did not affect the experience and time at the hotel.

It was right next to the beach and had free breakfast it was such a nice place!

Great location with a nice covered pavilion on the walkway to the beach. Lots of places to sit outside and a playground area for the kids. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The arrangement of the furniture in our room was awkward. The cabinet with the refrigerator was in front of the foot of the bed leaving a narrow space to walk through to get to the other side- especially the bathroom in the middle of the night.

I like the location to the beach, I love the pool, the staff is so nice

Our toilet made an extremely loud sound when it was flushed, there is no outlet on one side of the bed, the fridge froze our food no matter what setting it was. The fridge also leaked .

Always a great place to stay!
