Comfort Inn & Suites Paw Paw

Everything was clean and comfortable. Expansive breakfast.

The room was spacious in the bed was comfortable. Having a mini-fridge, microwave, ironing board, and iron are always a plus. The negative experience came from the check-in. The attendant who checked me in required a credit card for incidentals. I’ve worked in hospitality long enough to know that this is not required. It is up to the manager or the desk employee to request a credit card for incidentals. I’m used to this sort of profiling from a specific gender and race, but this is only time that a Choice Hotel has asked me for a credit card for incidentals. The attendant also made a big deal about the fact that I have two different addresses on my account. Questioning if I was giving her the right information at all. Again, I’m used to the profiling, but I didn’t expect it coming from another BIPOC. There’s a slight issue where I paid cash for a vending machine beverage and I did not receive the change. It’s not the end of the world for me, but someone who really needs that change may make a big deal of it. This check-out employee was polite and asked all the right questions. Our exchange was brief.

Annually go to Western Michigan for fruit, have stayed at Baymont Inn, just down the block before, decided to try Comfort Inn for a change. Nice room, did have a cleaning supply "smell" when you walked in, but didn't notice it after being in the room. KIng bed was very comfortable. NO HALLMARK OR GREAT AMERICAN FAMILY CHANNELS on their Direct TV channels.. Indoor pool, usual breakfast. No issues, would use again.

Our stay was exactly as expected. Property was great and very close to Warner Vineyards where we were attending a concert. Paw Paw Brewing was very close by where we had a great dinner. The only complaint we had was the bed was a lil hard. Other than that, everything was great.

We were within walking distance to the wineries. The facility was very clean, comfy, and the breakfast was great! The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly!

This was a nice clean place and people were helpful. However, I felt like even though you could tell furniture and carpet was newer the smell of cigarettes was so strong I hated it. The first few rooms off the side door entrance smelled so bad from people smoking right outside the door. Which I was told is the smoking area. I would not stay here again.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and welcoming. From the moment we walked in the door we felt a part of something special. They were just so friendly. The breakfast was the best I've seen at any hotel and it never ran out.

Close to town, very convenient.
