I schedule 2-nights & 3-days then on a taped call told cancellation policy- prior 2-days can cancel within 2-days $200.00 charge. No refund after registration date. I Cancelled registration 3-days prior. Quality Inn then told me Expedia policy No Refund and Expedia email refund based on Quality Inn. Then told by Quality Inn policy is No Refund but never got written cancellation policy from Quality Inn. Request $1281.00 be refund to American Express card. Clean room, nice size mini refrigerator. Continental breakfast is okay, but better than anything. Parking is limited at night, and a bit of homeless people in the parking on one of the nights but didn’t see any issues the next day.

I like to be honest when reviewing places I have stayed. Prior to booking I read some pretty nasty reviews of this hotel. It wasn’t the nicest place I have stayed in, but it was clean, convenient and well priced. I needed a bed and bathroom, and that is what I got. It wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews I read before booking. It’s location was perfect for my trip. I was visiting a friend and he was about 5 minutes from there. I will stay there again if I have another trip to Santa Cruz

Not the best part of town but if your know Santa Cruz, you already know that. Staff warned about locking cars to avoid theft. No issues while I was there and the room was really nice and quiet. Smelled and looked clean. The bed was pretty comfy too. Not bad at all.
