Clayton Hotel Cork City

The staff were extremely friendly. The food was amazing. The location was fantastic with a lovely view of the river and city hall. We were close to the centre and busy streets, which made it handy for shopping.

The only thing that I didn't like was trying to find the car park under the hotel. We drove round in circles for a while. I then went into the hotel for advise and the receptionist gave me directions on how to get to the car park.

Comfy room and bed and staff lovely and helpful. 2 water bottles left in room daily. Good having parking below and lift up to reception directly as there were a few people living on the street at the parking entrance outside so not ideal to have to walk past that way. Only a block or 2 to the main Oliver Plunkett street shopping area so good location wise for that and easy parking coming in by car. We added on the meal dea 3 courses and the meal was very good. Room was comfy. Water pressure was good and bed medium soft. Good sized room but just atrium internal view. Would stay again if in Cork.

Centrally located in great city, good parking, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Had great stay thanks.

Good location, comfortable beds, easy online check in and key card process. Staff were very helpful with organising a taxi.

The only downside is the view from our hotel room was onto a side street and there were homeless people sleeping there. Wouldn't put me off staying again and felt very safe in the area.
