Ramada by Wyndham Cornwall

The location was excellent. We were within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The room was updated. There was a beautiful sitting area out back. The reception area and buffet area had been updated, it was very nice . Breakfast was standard , more than enough. The staff, receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. She made the experience of staying there a perfect 10.

The bottom of the doors to rooms need to be plated as there is wear on every door. The shower function was different as you had to pull down on ring at bottom of tap. Entrance to door number 2 could have been brighter.

Hotel needs a Reno. Old tired building. Had to walk forever for the room. Needs some upgrades.

Convenient

No carpet in room. Nice bright furniture. Nice grounds.

Children running and playing with a ball in hallway. No respect for people sleeping.. Not hotel's fault I know. Wouldn't have let my children do that, always made sure they were quiet.

Our experience was good except the rooms are not soundproof, and so noisy children can be a disturbance. There is no elevator. Breakfast room is pleasant but attendant during our second stay seemed overworked and unhappy. Many food chains and restaurants are close by.

Service was great even with kids hockey tourney on same floor. Hotel is tired and needs a refresh. Pool was cold, hot tub broken, low ceilings in hallways and evidence of roof leaks in room and common areas.

Location was fine, central but you need a car because you cannot get to the food options easily on foot (believe me I tried). The staff were very good, went above and beyond and were always pleasant and accommodating. Small town charm. The rooms were clean, hardwood flooring not carpet, seems to be recently updated bathrooms. Towels refreshed daily, which I want when I stay in a hotel. Comfortable beds - very good beds. Breakfast is mediocre at best, eggs a bit overcooked rubbery, greasy, sugary, out-of the freezer options - some healthier options such as plain yogurt, plain oatmeal, or real baked bread (not wonderbread kind of bread) would be preferred. The pool was lovely, relaxing, nice big windows, good hours for a swim before or after the day, but very very cold. Robes for going between pool and room would be nice to have. Quiet, not noisy at all. You have to drive/have a car, although Walmart is walkable, about 2 blocks (I did it twice).

Gabby was absolutely warm and welcoming, it was easy and fast to check on. There was another staff memeber as well when we entered at about 4pm at the front who was dusting thr light's, she was absolutely amazing as well, she spoke and engaged my 4 year old. We had a long day of travelling and she helped capture my child's attention. I am very grateful as it calmed her down and burned some of thr extra energy.

Comfortable room, good temperature control.

Long hallways, had to walk forever from parking lot to room. No elevator, had to climb stairs with luggage.

Very clean and fresh, nice staff, decent breakfast (ham, boiled eggs, crispy potatoes, cereal, toast, muffins, juice- coffee wasn’t the best in lobby but there is Keurig in room) you can also buy beer/wine/coolers at front desk-checked in and grabbed a beer to take to room after a long day of driving
