Days Inn by Wyndham San Marcos

Room furnishings are new but the paint is old. Room was clean.

Breakfast was very basic. No hot items other than waffles. Of the two juices in the dispenser one was out of order and the other was watery. coffee was very weak. No coffee maker in the room but a small fridge and microwave.

good value easily accessible from highway

Back door was open and unlocked 24/7. Unruly guests were talking loudly and knocking on doors past 10 pm and were awake before 5 am talking loudly. i could not get a decent nights sleep.

Matresses were extremely hard. Difficult to be comfortable.

Property is right next to freeway exit and near freeway. Conditions of the rooms and building is poor as well.

I expected the freeway noise but you could also hear every single thing inside the motel as well. People were yelling in the hallway, i could hear the shower next door, the doors are thin and there is like half an inch of space between the door and jam. So if youre a light sleeper, not great. Shower pressure awesome.

Window didn't fit the frame. Felt like the window was open. Mattress needed to be replaced, it sunk in the middle.
