It did not have a free breakfast, we ate elsewhere. It was clean, nice decor, liked having Honey B's right there on site, liked the activity room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was great. The room was clean and they were quick to restock anything we needed.

The bed's were really firm! Had a backache most mornings. The pool was not heated, as advertised, and the hot tub wasn't very hot. The most disturbing thing was how the water in the shower went from warm to scalding hot without warning, and just as quickly went to freezing cold. We had to be very careful.

Liked that everything was inside and accessible. Loved that you had pool tables and other activities for people to do

A Wonderful Stay at Ramada by Wyndham Paintsville Hotel & Conference Center My husband and I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Paintsville Hotel & Conference Center from June 12–14, 2026, and it was truly one of the nicest hotel experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an amazing staff. Unfortunately, I didn’t get anyone’s name, but every employee we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. It’s rare to find a team that consistently provides such warm and attentive service, and they deserve recognition for the care they show their guests. We stayed in a non-smoking king room, and it was comfortable, clean, and inviting. One of our favorite features was the set of French doors that opened into the beautiful atrium area. The atrium itself is stunning, with a peaceful water fountain that creates a relaxing atmosphere and makes the hotel feel unique and special. The hotel offers several amenities that set it apart. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful spiral staircase and the glass elevators, both of which add charm and character to the property. There is also an indoor-outdoor pool and a gaming area, making it a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to relax and have fun during their stay. Another highlight was the on-site breakfast restaurant. While breakfast is not complimentary, every meal is cooked fresh to order, and you can definitely taste the difference. It was well worth it and a wonderful way to start the day. What impressed us most was the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, with little touches that make it feel more like a destination than just a place to sleep. You can tell that the staff takes pride in maintaining the property and making guests feel at home. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, and this is truly one of the nicest we’ve experienced. We left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and already looking forward to our next visit.
