Residence Inn Danbury

The room had a bad smell and was in poor condition. The hotel needs an update.

When we first got to this hotel we were greeted with a very friendly woman at the front desk. She let us check out the rooms before carrying our stuff in. Everything looked well so we proceeded with our reservation. After sleeping there the first night and being gone the next day, we returned to find a German roach on the floor in our room. We contacted the front desk who’s advised us they would change our room and have us another room 4 doors over. After talking with others in our party we decided to just check out and make the 2 hour trek home, in the dark on 4yj of July with 6 kids. The lady working the front desk that night said she has “never seen anything like this in the hotel before” but I don’t know where else this roach would have come from. I got to spend the next days cleaning everything we had and watching for signs of roaches.

Nice staff. Clean hotel with a good breakfast. Mattress on pull out couch needs upgraded

Delicious and nutritional

104, the bed was very uncomfortable 😐 like a bench and the AC, unit made loud noises all night long.. As a former engineer was disappointed of the quality time for a upgrade.

That Iwas able to get a parking close to the front door lobby.

Breakfast

Rooms were clean, great size,stocked with all kitchen gear you will need. The ladies at the front desk were awesome. The breakfast in the morning was full of choices. Would highly recommend.

Room next door was making noise way past 12am. Wi-Fi wasn't connecting, eventually got on to the Conference network, but VPN wouldn't work. Otherwise, nice hotel.
