Residence Inn Greenville-Spartanburg Airport

My family and I always stay here. Cleaness of the facility and the staff was responsive and helpful.

We had a late check in and the pillar cases were dirty and sheets. Not remote to bedroom tv. Found bugs and shower kept filling the tub up while trying to shower. Again thanks to the staff who showed concern.

Clean, quiet. Lots of amenities.

No ice maker or water station.

Stayed 3 nights. House keeping didn’t come to our room the whole time.

No housekeeping.

As an elite Marriott Rewards member, I have stayed at many Residence Inns, in fact, my wife and I prefer them. The Residence Inn Greenville-Spartanburg Airport is the absolute worst. The check in experience was mediocre, did not receive the usual amenities but that was not important. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable as expected. However, the continuous sound of a running motor was loud enough to impact our sleep. Breakfast on Sunday morning was scheduled to last until 9:30. We arrived in the dining area at 8:30. The scrambled eggs were gone, there were no forks available, no bacon or potatoes, the sausages were cold, so I opted for cereal, a safe choice, right? Except the milk was expired and sour.

The location was good, it had a very welcoming feel as you pulled in parking lot.

There was a rolling can of stinky garbage outside the elevator for 2days and it was filled to the brim. The host who welcomed us was better suited to work in a morgue and when we asked questions about the area it was barely acknowledged and no help at all. When we checked in the male host said I need your I.d., no please, just brusquely. Had to tell them tv in master didn’t work and the faceplate for shower knob wasn’t attached and hot and cold were reversed. Breakfast was just okay.

The breakfast was very limited. The food looked like leftovers. Today it was leftovers from the rest of the week. My wife and i gad to share an English muffin. The meat was a couple of days old. We had seen it when it was fresher. I asked for more English muffins and interupted the staff member who was on his phone. He was also also short when we asked him for butter. There were no bowlsf or ceareal or glases for juice. My wife put her oatmeal in a coffee cup. It was gluey cold and in inedible We were there for 5 days not impressed. They put us in a handicapped room with a small double bed. I asked for a king sized bed rhat i ordered. They moved us to a room right beside the elevator. It kept us up all night. Rhe Friday of our visit was the worst. There was a group of teenaged girls running up the halls and up and down the elevators till 2am. I called the desk and no one answered. I finally went to the front desk and no one was there. I then noticed the staff member was in the office with his feet up on the wall watching a tablet with ear buds in. He didnt even look up when u addressed him. I told the say manger who didnt seem to care. We wont be returning.
