The people were great and even made some fresh cookies for me!

This place is great, we stayed here for several weeks while we were house shopping. The staff is great, Mark at the front desk, Israel is great too. Every single morning Summer does a great job with breakfast and always has a smile on her face! She always brightens our day.

We spent three nights four days. I asked they clean the room each morning we left and it never happened so each night I had to go get towels and washcloths. The bathtub was falling apart, Junk.

They cancelled my colleague's booking day of our arrival, fridge in the room was vibrating loudly, toilet would run unless you lifted the lever back up, front desk staff was MIA repeatedly. Breakfast was decent, rooms are spacious.

Several days before my stay I received an email from a Residence Inn associate asking if I would consider giving up my room so the hotel could accommodate hurricane relief workers, utility crews and displaced families. The hotel is about 63 miles from Asheville. In writing, Residence Inn promised that any non-refundable reservation (as was mine) would be forgiven. At the time I was happy to assist and surrendered my reservation in a subsequent email. I made a reservation at a lesser hotel. The day after my originally scheduled reservation Marriott charged me as a no show. Incredulous at this lack of detail and professionalism, I phoned the front desk. After some confusion talking to the staff they said they would “”take care of it”. Of course no apology or regret was offered. Four days later I had to call again and straighten this out. I left a message to speak to the GM (Becky). She hasn’t bothered to return my call (I am just a customer). Later that day received a reversal of the charge, but the wrong amount. Had to turn it over to Visa as a dispute.

Had a pretty good stay here, a bit outdated but it’s definitely fine

I was pleasantries surprised with how clean the room was, there was plenty for my son to do like the pool and the basketball court

Overall a great experience. Great staff. Only issue is that the showers were very weak. It took a long time to take a shower. The force of the water was not good.
