Residence Inn by Marriott Dayton Troy

This is our go to if we need to be in the Troy-Dayton area. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, convenient location, nice fitness room. What’s not to love?!

We have stayed here several times. For the first time, we smelled cigarette smoke on our floor. It was barely noticeable, but it was present. The windows open in the rooms - pretty easy to smoke and toss the butts out the window! Smokers may think nobody can smell it, but non-smokers can! If it becomes the norm, we would unfortunately have to look elsewhere.

Spacious

Hairs on the sheets, no door to bathroom, just on shower and toilet.

Location wonderful. Breakfast fabulous. Staff outstanding!

You need to practically come to a complete stop to enter the driveway onto the property. It is off a cul-de-sac and rougher than any speed bump I have gone over! They need to soften that blow to the vehicle or at least put a caution sign!!

The rooms were great, bed was comfy, breakfast was superb!

No automatic opening doors! Always sucks when your hands are full but they did have the carts which I guess helps

Shower could be a little cleaner. Spacious room. Options to eat and walkable.
