Rodeway Inn Dillsburg

In dire need of updating, but OK for a shirt stay.

For starters, the room was relatively clean and odor free. The bed had a top blanket with multiple cigarette burn holes. Once closed, the door had a noticeable gap at its base allowing for the cold air and bugs to enter room. Had to have the heat cranked up at night. The bathroom was small and i wouldn't suggest that more than 1 person occupy this room. The toilet was too close to the wall causing me to bang my left knee on wall and have to use an angled seated position to use toilet. The traffic was loud and the activity at the bar next door was unacceptable. Lastly, the bed was rock hard. Had the floor been carpeted, I might have just slept on the floor. I would've gotten a better night's sleep. Will not be choosing any Rodeway Inn for my future travel. (See pics )

We were very disappointed in this hotel. We have stayed in a Rodeway Inn in Ohio and really liked it so were expecting the same type of place. When I first walked in there was a roach on the bedside table, long black hairs in the sheets and the towels were gray (supposed to be white). The beds were hard as a rock. On a positive note, no bedbugs and the pillows were nice.

No pool

Clean... didn’t smell like smoke. Room was small but adequate. But we didn’t book the most expensive room either. I loved the king sized bed.

The property is old. I speculate it was constructed in the 1960s to 1980s. There was a gap between the threshhold and the bottom of the door of 1/2" to 3/4". If it were snowing and wind blowing, there would have been a small snowdrift inside the room. The property is located on a truck route and adjacent to a stop light. All through the night I heard trucks apply their jake brakes to stop for the traffic light.

Stayed 4 nights while visiting friends in Dillsburg. The room was clean and had all the necessary items ( hair dryer, shampoo, micro wave, cooler,tv). Nice hot water. Easy to find right on the main hwy. I felt safe. A bit of noise from hwy. The bathroom needed some maintenance, grout , shower head etc

My supposed non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke.
