Staff was nice and the Mexican food restaurant next door was amazing!

Bed was terrible. Bugs in bathroom. Ceiling looks like it has black mold in bathroom. Bathtub stopper does not work and hot water didn’t stay hot very long. Noisy street with cars that sound like racing at 2am 🥴😬

We had reservations under my son's name, he called that morning and asked if I would be able to check in, as he was going to be about an hour behind us. He spoke w/ a woman that said that would be fine. I got there, and the 2 men inside said it was not possible, and the older gentleman was slamming his hand on the desk, yelling something about the guy has to be there. I advised that someone said it would be ok, and let me call my son and see if he got a name. He tried to yell more, but I could not understand him, so the other gentleman starting speaking, say that would not be possible, they do not do that there. Then the lady came flying up front, apologizing, saying they didn't know , she hadn't told them. Ok, that was fine, I guess....she was checking me in, asked if I had pets, I said yeah, 2 cats, the older man again started yelling, very hard to understand, smacking his hand on the counter again. The lady said they don't take cats. Their website does not state anywhere no cats. Said pets welcome for a fee. The older man and son now are repeating over and over, no cats. I said ok, I understand that, but your website doesn't say that, and I stayed at a super 8 the day prior that had zero problems with cats. The lady did direct me to the motel 6 across the way (MUCH better hotel grounds and great staff by the way) She did say "the guy" can cancel the reservation and they would refund, which they did do almost immediately when he spoke w/ them, and did advise their website had no exclusions for what type of pets. The woman seemed like she would be kind, the older guy, was very rude, loud , unfortunately, VERY hard to understand. I am very glad I did not have to deal with him any further. If passing thru again, I will stop elsewhere. They did have able parking on other side of the building for semis or uhaul/trailer parking (which is why we picked there, along with allowing pets)

I was traveling with my dog. They asked me if I had a pet. I told him that I did. There's a $20 fee. I told them to put it on my credit card. Somehow the desk person got confused and thought I said I didn't have a dog. Later they saw the dog and they came up to my room to tell me that I needed to pay the pet fee. I was already in bed trying to get to sleep. I told him I would take care of it in the morning. They went away. They came back and knocked on the door again and told me that I had to pay the pet fee. I told him again I would take care of it in the morning and to let me go to sleep. This time they finally stayed away. The next morning there was a charge on my account for $20 which is fine but they didn't have to bother me in my room twice over $20.

Was what we expected for $ spent Room and bedding was clean , everything (TV, Remote , shower etc)worked All in all pleasant stay

$40 charge for two small Yorkies was a little excessive

Was traveling through, checked in late, staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Pillows could have been better.
