Americas Best Value Inn & Suites-Birch Run

For the hotel being fairly full, it was quiet. We had people in the rooms on either side of us and a baby across the hall and once we were in the room we never heard them.

Was hard to park truck and trailer in lot.

The location and price were good.

Property is run down and definitely does not look how the pics are.

That it was excellently located to where we were originally wanted to be in town.

It was dated. Bathtubs were falling apart and the enamel off the bathtub was chipped all over. I didn’t take a shower the whole time I was there and I’m a daily shower person. This property needs massive renovations.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The continental breakfast was kept stocked and dining area was very clean. The entire facility was clean. The location was great for shopping in Birch Run as well as a 10 minute drive to Frankenmuth.

The hot tub is older so its worn and wasn't that hot.. The bottom row of tile on the walls is in need of repair. It didn't look pretty but it was clean and did the job after long days of walking, shopping and exploring. It didn't bother us but yes the paint is pealing in the bathtub.

They only had waffles and bagels and fruit and muffins

When we checked in the girl wasn’t very friendly never told us the time for breakfast the room was not very clean. The floors were dirty. There was crumbs on the floor. The bathtub was disgusting. It was peeling the refrigerator froze all our drinks. There was nothing where we can lower the temperature. The microwave dish was disgusting. I had to take it out and wash it.

The room was clean and comfortable. The service was really amazing at every interaction. I brought my dog and he was very comfortable and they had plenty of grassy areas for him to use for the bathroom. The fee is very reasonable too. We can’t wait to go back!

Outdated, no bed side tables, bathroom could use a lot of updates, no elevator, breakfast was scarce.

I liked the location of the hotel—right across from Birch Run, close to Meijer & Frankenmuth/Bronners

Hotel is out dated. Not very clean. Dark hallways. No elevator. No gym. Spa room looked dirty. My bathroom looked dirty-tub worn down & tiny black hairs everywhere on the floor. No comfortable sitting space. Bed was okay. Between traffic outside to thin walls inside, it was very hard to sleep or relax with all the noise. Stayed right next to stairs so every time someone came upstairs, they have to open a door and it’s sooo squeaky. People running through halls. Maids vacuuming rooms next door at 8am. Breakfast was waffle maker & 3 cereal choices—& the cereal lever to release it wouldn’t work. Milk sitting out on the counter in a pour container. Toast. Apples, bananas. So I ended up not even eating. Definitely will not be back. Satellite channels? So channels were hard to access. No signage saying where check in lobby was.
