Old , outdated furniture. A ten dollar charge to check in early. Doors to outside did not close properly so anyone could come in. Vending machine broken

This is actually a pretty nice hotel. We have stayed there in the past and the prices for rooms are very good especially because the rooms are clean, have wonderful beds and excellent wifi. The breakfast was also adequate although when you're near Frankenmuth, there is so much to choose from to eat that I don't spend much time on the hotel breakfast. So why not a a 5 out of 5? Well this time I thought it would be nice to have a little bigger room and actually a larger fridge so I booked the room with the kitchenette. Now as mentioned I was planning on eating out most of the time so cooking was not really planned but if I had wanted to cook, this room offered no more options than a regular room except for cabinets filled with nothing. Yes technically there was a little room that looked like a kitchen as it had cabinets but it only had a mini fridge and microwave. The cabinets had no dishes or pots and pans so if someone was planning on cooking this would be useless. I will stay here again but I won't bother with a kitchenette room as a standard room is pretty much the same. One other thing, there is no elevator so if you need to avoid climbing stairs be sure to geta floor on ground level.

Shower did not work, needed to switch rooms. Shower valve was frozen open
