Econo Lodge Cartersville-Emerson Lake Point

Good price. My reservation was ready for me when I got there even though I hadn't made it but about 45 minutes prior. The Continental breakfast selection is very limited and consist entirely of carbs. The coffee is passable but you are limited to their very small cups. Tons of signage asking you not to fill your go mug, etc. The best I could do was a banana for breakfast. Everything else was literally processed food.

The beds had some kind of mattress pad that bunched up anytime you turned over and attempted to mask a not so comfortable bed.

I was disappointed that there was no elevator. The staff was helpful but it was also hard getting a suitcase and bag through the door. I could not use the TV because the remote did not work. The bathroom was clean but towels were very thin. Breakfast was meager.

It was alright but the internet is horrible

There is no elevator in this hotel, only stairs. The rooms are old. The entrance seems to have been renovated. Their staff needs help on how to do good customer service.

The room was reasonably clean but there was a musty odor. It’s one of those hotels where nothing is really ground level. I was on the first floor which was 4 steps down. There is a wheelchair ramp to the first floor, but no elevator. And plenty of signs telling you what not to do, don’t use the ice machine to fill coolers or bags, don’t use your own cup for the coffee, etc. And not a single polite please.

Hotel was very well kept up in and out. Everything was clean and comfortably and smelled good. Our beds were so comfy & softest sheets! Best short overnight ever.

I would recommend it.

Worth the price

Price, clean and convenient to where we we’re visiting

My room was a handicap room but it felt like a regular room I had a hard time navigating my wheelchair through the room. It was entirely too small to be wheelchair handicap. It might work for someone using a cane or walker
